Quilt Along

Welcome to the Drunkard's Path Quilt Along 2015.

This quilt along is really more of a block-a-month sew along. You can join in at any time. It all came about because I would like to have a new quilt by the time Christmas rolls around this year. I figure if I make a block a month, 9 block total, I stand a decent chance of having it done by Christmas. So I decided to post it as a quilt along and invite you to join me. Holds me more accountable that way. It's a wonderful design AND it certainly doesn't have to be a Christmas quilt. It's beautiful in spring colors too.

I will add a link to each post here, as they are posted, so you can find everything in one place as the year goes along. I'll be sharing the progress on my blocks as well as lots of optional design ideas.

Hope you'll consider playing along. Join in at any time. Make it however you feel inspired.

    Greetings from Spain, Barbora

  2. Thanks for the QAL; I'm going to try to keep up, as I'd just decided it was time to try DP blocks on the machine. With your tutorial the idea is now a little less daunting!

  3. How wonderful! Thank you for the design. I added your link to my post using log cabins. Very clever design. LeeAnna at not afraid of color

  4. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful quilt along design. I really admire your artistic talent, and hope to be making this quilt in 2021! God bless!

  5. I just finished two of these blocks, one on top of the other. I put on some thin borders and surrounded it all with colorful Drunkard's Path blocks in sets of 2's and 4's (circle style). I wish I could send you a picture.

WaHoo!!! You're leaving me a comment. Thanks for stopping by and do come back again. Quilt on, Anne.
