I admit that when the weather turns wintery, I'd much rather be inside with a cup of Earl Gray and a good book. There is something beautiful about freshly fallen snow though. I like the stillness. So here's my latest walk . . .
Snow means . . .
Have you ever noticed how blue the shadows are on snow?
The trail is barely there. So peaceful . . .
Goose tracks. They don't seem to mind the snow.
I'd rather be sitting here with a beer soaking up the sun but it will be a few months yet.
This wintery white is beautiful but I'm kind of glad it's not going to last. It's supposed to be in the 50's for the next 3 days. Maybe another walk will be in order.
Have you taken any interesting walks lately?
I've created a Walk With Me
tab at the top of my blog so now you can find links to all my walks in one place. If you like these white images, you might also take a look at my White post found under the Color Inspiration
tab. Take a look and then go take a walk. : )
Really enjoy your walk with me posts.ReplyDelete
Beautiful, Anne! Somehow, I missed the first walks!ReplyDelete
It looks so pretty, but I'm glad that I don't live with it.ReplyDelete

You make me miss winter walks through the park. I can hear the wind howling, hear and see the shushing snow, and feel the chills running deep through my core. Now I don't miss it! But the pictures are beautiful.ReplyDelete
No interesting walks here Anne! I have managed a couple of 25km cycles, one along the beach, but the most I am seeing is the Williams sisters playing tennis this week! Love all you snowy photos!ReplyDelete
Beautiful! Thank you for sharing the photos.ReplyDelete
No snow here, but just seeing these makes me need to go and get my sweater. I love the sound of snow, but that's not something you can do visually. Everything gets all quiet and muffled. Nothing like it, and that I do miss!ReplyDelete
*You have a beautiful way of looking at color, even when there's only one*ReplyDelete
Thanks for sharing your walk. Love seeing the snow but glad I'm in Florida right now ;-))ReplyDelete
Beautiful shots. Snow is so photogenic.ReplyDelete
You always make the BEST series. This is just lovely.ReplyDelete
I love NY in the winter. When you get to go home early because of the snow, I always find myself going to Central Park. So beautiful while it's snowing. When I feel the chill, then I'll head home to Staten Island where I usto live. I miss it very much around the Xmas holidays. Your pictures bring back memories. Thanks for sharing.ReplyDelete
